Collection: Waqaf and Infaq Opportunities

Small Contributions, Big Impact

Why do we want to pursue Waqaf and Infaq opportunities?

---

Allah S.W.T has legislated waqf, encouraged it, and made it one of the means to draw closer to Him while granting great rewards to those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah Taala, as Allah says:

Surah Al-Baqarah: 261

The meaning is:

“The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like a seed [of grain] that sprouts seven ears; in every ear is a hundred grains. And Allah multiplies [His reward] for whom He wills. And Allah is all-Encompassing and Knowing.”

(Surah Al-Baqarah, Verse 261)

The Prophet Muhammad S.A.W himself greatly encouraged his ummah to increase charitable giving, as narrated by Abu Hurairah R.A, which means:

“From Abu Hurairah R.A. that the Prophet Muhammad S.A.W said: When a man dies, his deeds come to an end except for three things: ongoing charity, knowledge that is beneficial, or a righteous child who prays for him.”
