Help The Muslim Families in Kompot Village, Cambodia.

Due to heavy rains in September 2024, the water levels in the Mekong River has continued rising and causing life-disrupting floods in many parts of Cambodia.

In the Muslim majority area of Kompot Village, situated along the river - lives are being affected as roads become inaccessible, homes, schools and offices are flooded (damaging furniture, basic shelter, food supplies and essential needs).

Families, especially those with children, are suffering immensely.

Hectares of agricultural land are also being affected, causing many who are dependent on the land, to lose their jobs and harvest. 

For your information, Kompot Village is made up of:

• Population of 30,000 people, majority are Muslims
• 40 Muslim villages 
• 40 Masjids
• 60 Musollahs
• 60 Madrasahs, Orphans Centres and Tahfiz Centres

How Can You Help?

Help Families With Food Essentials To Help Them Tide Over This Difficult Period.

Gift them with a FAMILY FOOD PACKAGE* comprising of: 
. 10kg rice
. 10 pack noodle 
. 1 kg sugar 
. 1 bottle fish sauce 
. 1 pack tea
. 1 box of mineral water (flooding)

* Each package is estimated to last 3-4 weeks for a single family of 4-5 people.

Distribution

The items in the food package will be purchased by our trusted local partner in Kompot Village, who will then distribute them to affected families.

We target to distribute 500 Family Food Packages by the end of Oct 2024.

Proof of Purchase & Distribution

When you purchase the food package through our website, you will receive an order confirmation by email. This will constitute proof of your purchase.

At our end, we will provide periodic updates of distribution made to the families through photos and videos (if any). 

Due to the difficulties on the ground, it may not be possible to produce on-site banners and certificates to showcase your contributions. However, we will request for photos and videos if practicable.
