Thousands of Muslims in the muslim majority villages in Karnataka, India, are suffering from severe water crisis - due to the regional water shortages in Bengaluru since 2023. Unfortunately, the situation has not improved, and in fact getting worse!

For the Muslims in Karnataka, having clean water is a luxury. Families often have to travel as far as 2-3 kilometres, to beg for water from landlords in other areas, often subjecting them to humiliation and sometimes, abuse.

Even when water is obtained, the families share small amounts between many households, leaving them vulnerable to dehydration and waterborne illnesses.

With the 25,000L Water Tanker Sponsorship, the water tank will be driven directly into the heart of the villages, supplying up to 100 families at once — enough to last each family 3–4 days. This large-scale delivery ensures entire communities have immediate access to water, reducing the daily burden of fetching or purchasing it.

Distribution Schedule:

• Contributions received between 1st and 10th of current month
  → distributed by mid of current month
• Contributions received between the 11th and 25th of current month  
  → distributed by end of current month
• Contributions received after 25th of current month  
  → distributed by mid of following month
