Water Crisis For Our Muslim Brothers and Sisters in India

🚨 A Humanitarian Emergency for Our Ummah
Assalamualaikum,
Right now, millions of Muslims in India — especially in rural Bengaluru, Karnataka — are facing a severe water crisis.
In March 2024, The Hindu, BBC, and Times of India reported an unprecedented drought gripping the state. Officially declared a water emergency in several wards, where taps have run dry, borewells are collapsing, and water tankers are being rationed at triple the normal cost. Rural areas, especially where poor Muslim families live, are even more desperate — many have no access to piped water at all.
🧕🏽 A Cry from the Ground
A sister from Karnataka wrote to us:
“Please imagine: livelihood without water?
No water for cooking.
No water to clean utensils.
No water to wash clothes.
No water to bathe.
No water for toilets.
No water for Wudhu.
No water for cleanliness.
The best solution is to drill our own borewells. But, until then, please help with water bottles and water tankers. Please give water to all fakir miskin families who are waiting for your help.”

This is your chance to quench the thirst of the Ummah, to honour the Sunnah, and to give Hope where there is none.
Let us not delay. Every drop you give is a mountain of reward, in shā’ Allāh.
“Whoever gives water to a believer to drink when he is thirsty, Allah will give him a drink from the sealed nectar on the Day of Judgment.”
